“The Second To Last Chance Ladies League” is a gothic Southern comedy about a group of Southern ladies of a certain age.  The show stars such well-known Atlanta actors  Adena Brumer, Mary Beth Morrison, Nancy Riggs, Suzanne Roush & Karen Whitaker.

The play is written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten known as the playwriting team of Jones Hope Wooten.  They enjoy the reputation of being three of the most popular and widely produced playwrights in the United States. They specialize in writing laugh-out-loud Southern Comedies.  They have written over 35 theatre plays that have had hundreds of productions throughout the United States and internationally.  They are most well-known for writing and producing the much-loved television series The Golden Girls.  ART Station has produced three other Jones Hope Wooten comedies including The Dixie Swim Club, The Savanna Sipping Society, and the Wild Women of Winesdale. Because of their commitment to and support of local theatres across the nation, Jones Hope Wooten have been dubbed   “America’s Playwrights.”

Five best friends, Sedalia, Libby Ruth, Deedra, Monette and Charlie, own 'Occasionally Yours,' a stuffy rental business in their beloved Laure/ton Oaks southern mansion - hosting harmless events like bridal showers. Together, they re-imagine their rental business as a lively hotspot for gatherings of all kinds, and joyfully begin hosting raucous retirement parties, birthday parties, - even memorial services. What could possibly go wrong? Everything. Their new ventures quickly turn chaotic, leading to unexpected and comedic mishaps which will bring endless joy and tears of laughter.
