SEEKING

All Characters age ranges are 21 - 35

SEEKING:

LEANNE – Female Presenting, Ringleader. Wears her heart on her sleeve. Runs the family printing business. Very good at using her passion and enthusiasm to persuade others. R & B. Alto/Mezzo.

MEGAN – Female Presenting, Party Girl. A bit of a flirt. Ex-prom queen who is always looking for a good time. Contemporary Pop. Mezzo with a high belt.

DANA – Female Presenting, Teaches music at a catholic middle school. Reserved with a childlike innocence. Excited to be performing for a room full of people over twelve! Contemporary Country Pop. Top harmonies-Soprano.

JOEL – Male Presenting, Brother to Leanne. Hipster with a smart-alecky attitude and a great sense of humor. Likes being the center of attention. Bari/Tenor.

PREPARATION

Please prepare 16-bars of a ballad; an accompanist will be provided. Please also be familiar with the Sides (no need to memorize) from the script which are indicated on: 1) Pages 5-11, skipping all songs. 2) Pages 43-47, skipping all songs.

The Music Director will teach short snippets of the music for the auditioners to perform.
