Kathy Halenda (Vern) was last
seen at ART Station in her one-woman tour de force, THE BRASSY BROADS OF
BROADWAY, and before that in SOPHIE TUCKER - THE LAST OF THE RED HOT MAMAS.
Kathy is a professional actor and singer for twenty-five years and has performed
in over 180 productions, including 12 national tours, where her roles included
Nancy in OLIVER, Mae West in ZIGFIELD, Raffaela in GRAND
HOTEL, Golde in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and Maggie Jones in 42ND
STREET. Her extensive regional credits include the title roles in
MAME, HELLO DOLY, EVITA and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, as well as Mae West/Jo
in DIRTY BLOND, Mama Rose in GYPSY, Miss Mona in THE BEST
LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS, Nancy in OLIVER, Miss Hannigan in
ANNIE, and The Plant in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. She recently starred as
Mama Rose in the national tour of GYPSY. This buxom, brassy broad is
comfortable in any room from opera hall to beer hall!
Mary Kathryn Kaye (Honey)
spent the last several years on Atlanta’s 14th Street Playhouse stage as the
Iowa Housewife in the long-running hit MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL and as Dorothy
in RESPECT: A MUSICAL JOURNEY OF WOMEN. Mary Kathryn has performed
extensively in regional theatre and New York. Favorite roles include Masha
in THE SEAGULL, Marjorie in EXTREMITES, and Liz Morden in OUR
COUNTRY’S GOOD. She received her BA in Theatre from the University of Virginia
and her MFA in Acting from the Asolo Conservatory of Florida State University.

Lindsey Lamb (Allison) is
thrilled to be making her ART Station debut and so excited to work with such an
amazing cast. Her Atlanta credits include GUYS AND DOLLS, LUCKY STIFF and
ANNIE GET YOUR GUN at the Aurora Theatre, 1940’S RADIO HOUR at Theatre in
the Square and Atlanta Lyric Theatre, and A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD at
Synchronicity. Some of her favorite roles include Rosemary in
HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, Lucy in
YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, Ginger in 1940’S RADIO HOUR,
Cecily in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and Helena in
A MIDSUMMER’S NIGHT DREAM. Special thanks to David, Michael, Patrick, Jon
and Karen for this wonderful experience. Love to Drew, the biggest blessing and
best husband.
Judy Leavell (Minnie) is
delighted to return to her "theatre home," the ART Station, especially proud to
have recently portrayed a woman who was so much a part of her growing up: Ann
Landers. Previous ART Station productions include THE LADY WITH ALL THE ANSWERS,
THE EXACT CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE, DRIVING MISS DAISY and MAMA MAKES UP HER MIND,
among others. She recently returned from the Springer Opera House in Columbus,
GA, where she played Mrs. Graves in ENCHANTED APRIL. Other Atlanta productions
include STEELE MAGNOLIAS at Georgia Ensemble Theatre, SHILOH RULES at Theatrical
Outfit, FROM DOOR TO DOOR at the Jewish Theatre of the South, and SPITFIRE GRILL
at both the Horizon and Aurora Theatres. Judy serves on the Atlanta Equity
Liaison Committee, and has been a proud member of Actors Equity Association for
28 years.
Larry Ruth (Sam/Frank) is
really happy to be making his ART Station debut. His acting credits range from
Off-Broadway to Regional theatre productions in shows such as DRACULA, MY FAIR
LADY and CABERET (he played the oldest living Kit Kat Boy in the New American
Shakespeare Tavern’s production last summer) and CLOSER THAN EVER. He has also
worked on many new plays and musicals, as both an actor and director. Last year,
he directed workshops of two new plays, FAULT LINES for WORKING TITLE
PLAYWRIGHTS and BLUE WATER FISHING at the Horizon Theatre.
Lorraine Thompson (Bernice)
and husband, Tony Glenn, have made their home in a 111 year old farmhouse in
Farmington, GA. From August to May, Lorraine serves as Head of the Drama
Department of Athens Academy in Athens, Georgia. From June to August, she enjoys
spending her time on the stage. Her credits include The Summer 3 Theatre
Company, Lees McRae Summer Theatre, The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, The Highlands
Playhouse, and The Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre. "I am excited to be a
part of this company and to be performing at ART Station. Thanks to everyone
involved. Enjoy the show!"
Rachel White (Patsy) is
thrilled to be making her ART Station debut with such a wonderful cast and crew.
Rachel’s Atlanta credits include: The Aurora Theatre: THE DINOSAUR MUSICAL,
CHICAGO, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN; Synchronicity: MISS NELSON IS MISSING;
Savage Tree Arts Project: ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS. She currently serves as the
Assistant Artistic Director of The Layman Group. You can find out more by going
